Artist Bio

Judi was an artist from the time she was little. Her father, Carl Burbank was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Her family was stationed in many locations around the world. She and her sister Gail, who is also an artist used their imaginations to make paper dolls and toys. She comes from a long line of creativity. Her Mother, Teddy was an oil painter and showed in galleries in Del Mar, California. Judi studied art at Massachusetts Art School in Boston, Escuela del Arte in Madrid, Spain and UCLA.

For the last 50 years, Judi has settled down in the quaint beach-side community of San Clemente, California. She and her husband Stu raised their two boys, Barry and Darren who now have children and families of their own. She is inspired by the local views and adventures from her world travels. Judi has won many awards and has exhibited in galleries throughout California including the Crystal Cove Conservatory. She is a current member of the San Clemente Art Club and Laguna Methodist Art Association and exhibits with them both.
